What is FFA?
FFA is a dynamic student-led leadership development organization for students of agricultural education. The FFA changes lives and prepares students for premier leadership, personal growth and career success.
What does F-F-A stand for?
F-F-A stands for Future Farmers of America, which is the official name of the organization, but we don’t use the full name and instead operate as the “FFA” because Future Farmers of America implies that we are all preparing to be farmers. Agriculture is much broader than farming and ranching. Members study things such as horticulture, aquaculture, food sciences, accounting, wildlife management, mechanics and engineering.

FFA programs across the state provide students with an education in agriculture, science, technology and leadership, all while providing opportunities for hands-on application of knowledge and skills. Contributions to the Mississippi FFA Foundation help sponsor educational opportunities, scholarships and competitions for Mississippi FFA members. As a full-service public charity, the Foundation accepts all types of contributions. If you can imagine the donation, whether as an individual or a corporation, the Foundation can make it happen.

In addition, your contributions are eligible to be recognized via the Star Millennium Program. When your total donations add up to $1,000 over ten years, you'll receive a special plaque for your contributions. Every $1,000 you donate after your first $1,000 will earn you a bronze star to be added to your plaque.
You may also directly donate to the Star Millennium Program by enrolling in a monthly donation program. Just $22/month helps to ensure you'll become a Star Millennium Member within 4 years time.
Commit to Ten!
Looking for a way to start donating for the first time now? Looking to begin a regular commitment to Mississippi FFA? The Commit to Ten Giving Program is an excellent and convenient way for anyone to donate money to the Mississippi FFA Foundation. Through this program, you will commit to giving the dollar amount of your choice for ten months. For example, if you choose to give $25 for ten months, your contribution will amount to $250.00.
Donations begin upon enrollment through monthly
debit or credit card runs (Visa, MasterCard, and
American Express only). After 10 Months, donors will
have completed the Commit to Ten Challenge!
All donations are tax deductible and all proceeds
from this program support the Mississippi FFA
Foundation and its mission.
